The journey started from May 1988 by Shri. Chimanlal Nagindas Shah, Corporator of Sabarmati, Ahmedabad & Ex. Chairman of standing committee, AMC. He was associated with many social activities like education, public health, senior citizen Park etc. In those days he was inspired to start the Panchshil Hospital with the aim to provide best healthcare facility which is accessible to all. The hospital was started with few beds & routine facilities. Presently the hospital has full fledged best healthcare facilities.
Presently the hospital is having 60 beds capacity & all the ULTRA MODERN facilities and functioning as a multispecialty hospital. Total Yearly Patient Turnover is more than 12,000 patients as OPD and 3000 as IPD and apx. 800 to 900 patients under go different surgeries. The hospital is providing services not only to the Sabarmati but also other area like Gandhinagar, & Northern area of Gujarat & Rajasthan.

The Hospital has newly developed CRITICAL CARE Unit under leadership of DR. Pratibha Deelip (Director of CCU) in June 2014. It has fully equipped unit having GE Engstrom Care Station, Touch Screen Ventilators (Neonate/Paed./Adult), Synovent E3 Ventilator (Mindray), Touch Screen Multipara Monitors, iMEC10 (Mindray), BeneHeart D3 Defibrillator with AED (Mindray), Teama Ventilators, Digital X-Ray (Kodak), ABG Analyser and In House ICU DIALYSIS.
